There are thoughts we never say at the right time, words that remain somewhere between the heart and the mouth, emotions we carry for years without knowing exactly whom they still belong to. Some are born from love, others from loss, longing, silence, and from those nights when a person seems calm on the outside, while inside they are still speaking to someone who is no longer there.
This page is a place for fragments, reflections, and personal truths. Not every story becomes a book. Some remain only as a sentence, a memory, a wound carefully hidden beneath the light.
Here I will gather thoughts about life, love, loss, people, silence, departures, and everything that changes us in ways others cannot see.

The Quiet Between Us
Somewhere between what we were and what I believed we could be, something went quiet—and I never knew if it was you stepping back or me learning, too late, how alone I already was. You were there, but never fully; close, but never choosing; and I kept adjusting myself to fit into that distance, mistaking your silence for something deeper, something worth waiting for.
I think that’s the part that stays with me—not that it ended, but that it never truly began in the way I held onto. I loved you in half-light, in pauses, in what you didn’t say; and maybe that was always the problem, that I built something out of absence and called it enough.
I won’t ask you for anything now. There is nothing left to ask. Only this quiet understanding that loving you meant learning how to let go without ever being held.
The Silence I Carry
There are moments when I stop and wonder when exactly this feeling became a part of me. I live in a city full of life millions of faces passing by, endless streets filled with stories, lights shining through windows of homes I will never know, and voices surrounding me every day. From the outside, it looks like I should never feel alone. I have met good people, I have friends who care, I have shared laughter and beautiful moments, yet somewhere deep inside there is still a quiet place that feels untouched.
It is strange how a person can be surrounded by so much and still feel the absence of something they cannot explain. Sometimes I sit quietly after a long day and ask myself what exactly I am searching for. Is it a person? Is it a place where my heart finally feels at home? Is it a piece of myself that I lost somewhere between the life I left behind and the life I am trying to build?
Maybe cities teach us a strange lesson. They bring millions of people together, yet they can make us feel invisible. Everyone is rushing somewhere, carrying their own memories, their own battles, their own silent stories. And maybe I am no different. Maybe behind my own smile there are chapters that nobody has read, feelings that I never found the right words to share.
Sometimes I miss the simplicity of moments that I never realised were precious until they became memories. The voices of people I love, the feeling of belonging somewhere without needing to prove anything, the comfort of knowing exactly where my heart rests. Life changes, people change, and somewhere along the way we learn how to continue even when parts of us are still looking backwards.
I am grateful for the people who walk beside me, for the kindness I receive, and for the moments that remind me life can still be beautiful. But gratitude does not always silence the questions inside us. Sometimes we can appreciate everything we have and still feel that something is waiting to be found.
Maybe I am not searching for another person to complete me. Maybe I am searching for a deeper connection with myself the part of me that dreams, feels, remembers, and hopes. The part that exists beneath all the responsibilities, all the expectations, and all the masks we sometimes wear just to keep moving forward.
Until I find that missing piece, I will keep walking these streets, listening to the noise around me and the silence within me. Because maybe the emptiness I feel is not a sign that something is missing forever. Maybe it is simply a reminder that there is still something inside me waiting to grow, waiting to heal, waiting to be discovered.
And perhaps one day, I will look back and realise that I was never truly lost.
I was just finding my way back to myself.

Dear You,
There are moments in life that change absolutely nothing, yet somehow change everything. One evening, after months of silence, I received a simple message from you.
“Hi.”
I almost didn’t see it because I rarely opened that phone anymore. It had become a place where old memories slept, where conversations belonged to another version of my life. I wasn’t expecting anything, especially not you. But when I finally opened it and saw your name, something happened that I wasn’t prepared for. My breathing became heavier. My hands started trembling. My heart raced so fast that for a few seconds I forgot where I was. I kept looking at those two letters, wondering why something so small could still have so much power over me. I had spent so much time convincing myself that I had accepted everything, that I had learned to live without you, that I had finally found peace. Then your message appeared, and in one second I understood that some feelings don’t disappear. They simply become quieter until something wakes them up again.
The strange thing is that only a few moments before, I had been scrolling through Instagram. A song appeared, and somehow my initials were part of it. It made me stop for a moment without knowing why. Looking back now, it almost felt as if life had whispered your name before you did. Maybe it was coincidence. Maybe it wasn’t. I don’t know anymore. Some things happen without explanations, and perhaps they are not supposed to have one.
We started talking, slowly at first. It felt unfamiliar and familiar at the same time. It was as if we were trying to remember how to reach each other after months of silence. Then the conversation became easier. We stopped talking about the present and started talking about the past, about us, about the memories we created together without ever imagining they would become the only place where we could still be together. We remembered the laughter, the endless conversations, the little moments that seemed ordinary back then but today mean everything. Funny how the smallest memories become the biggest treasures once they are all we have left.
Then you said something that I never expected to hear. You told me that my love, my care, the way I always stood beside you, the way I loved you without asking for anything in return, had been haunting you. I read those words again and again because they didn’t make sense to me. If my love stayed with you, why didn’t we? If those memories still lived inside you, why did silence become stronger than everything we had built? I wasn’t angry while reading your words. I wasn’t happy either. I was simply overwhelmed by a sadness that is impossible to describe. Sometimes the heart doesn’t know whether it is breaking or healing.
I wanted to ignore your message. I really did. I wanted to prove to myself that I had become stronger than my emotions. But I couldn’t. Not because I had forgotten what happened between us, but because I had never forgotten you. There is a huge difference between forgiving someone and erasing them from your heart. I managed to continue living. I learned how to smile again. I learned how to wake up every morning and do what life expected from me. But I never learned how to stop carrying you inside me.
Despite all my mistakes, despite all the pain we caused each other, despite every night I cried because I couldn’t understand why everything had fallen apart, I couldn’t answer you with indifference. That simply wasn’t who I was. The truth is that no matter how you left, no matter how deeply you broke me, no matter how many pieces I had to collect just to become myself again, I never stopped loving the part of you that once made me feel safe. Maybe that was my greatest strength. Maybe it was my greatest weakness. Even today I don’t know.
You probably never knew how many nights ended with your name still in my thoughts. You probably never imagined how often I reached for my phone, hoping to see a message that never came. There were days when I laughed with other people while carrying an unbearable emptiness inside me. There were nights when I couldn’t sleep because every memory returned one after another, refusing to let me rest. I kept asking myself the same questions over and over again. What could I have done differently? Was loving you not enough? Did I love too much? Was timing against us? Or were we simply two people who met at the wrong moment in life? The hardest part was never not having answers. The hardest part was realizing that maybe no answer would ever be enough to heal what had been broken.
I don’t even know how many tears carried your name. At some point I stopped counting because numbers no longer mattered. Pain cannot be measured. Love cannot be measured either. They simply exist, quietly shaping the person we become. People always say that time heals everything, but I don’t think that is true. Time teaches us how to live with the absence. It teaches us how to smile while carrying sadness, how to move forward while still looking back from time to time. It doesn’t erase love. It simply teaches us to carry it more quietly.
When you told me that my love had been haunting you, I wondered how many nights we had spent under the same sky, missing each other without knowing it. How many songs reminded you of me while different songs reminded me of you. How many times we both wanted to reach out but allowed pride, fear or uncertainty to win. It is heartbreaking to think that two people can still care about each other and still remain separated by silence.
Today there is distance between us, and with that distance comes uncertainty. I don’t know what tomorrow will bring. I don’t know whether this conversation was simply nostalgia visiting two lonely hearts or whether it was life quietly reminding us that not every story ends when people say goodbye. I don’t know if we will ever meet again. I don’t know if we will ever have another chance to write a different ending. I only know that reading your name again reminded me that some people never truly leave us. They become part of our heartbeat. They become the invisible thread connecting who we were with who we have become.
Maybe life will keep us apart forever. Maybe one day our paths will cross again when neither of us expects it. I have stopped trying to predict what destiny has planned because life has surprised me too many times already. But if there is one truth I can no longer deny, it is this: despite the silence, despite the distance, despite every mistake, every misunderstanding, every tear and every goodbye, there has never been a day when I completely forgot you. You became part of my story, part of my healing, part of my scars, and part of the person I am today. Some people leave our lives, but they never leave our hearts. They remain there quietly, not asking to be remembered, because the heart never needed a reminder in the first place.
Maybe that is what love really is. Not always staying together, but never truly leaving each other behind.
